HOW ARE MY GRADES CALCULATED?
You would be graded per course (i.e. every course carries a grade). Grades are represented with letters A-F, and they each have their respective marks (which are over 100) and their respective calculations (which are over 10). These possible grades are presented below;
• A- 70 to 100 marks (calculated as 10/10).
• B- 60 to 69 marks (calculated as 8/10).
• C- 50 to 59 marks (calculated as 6/10).
• D- 45 to 49 marks (calculated as 4/10).
• E- 40 to 44 marks (calculated as 2/10).
• F- 0 to 39 marks (calculated as 0/10).
So, if for example, one gets 15 marks in assignment (which is not so easy to get except you do what you are advised), 15 marks in test and, 15 marks in each of the three examination questions, that is an overall sum of -15x5=75 marks (calculated as 10/10), which is an A grade.
